"Hello, I'm a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, and the unrequited love of Rei and Judai. Somehow, I just love this pairing, too bad they didn't get too much screen time. So, I made a fic...Starring Rei

She sat outside the Slifer Red Dorm, near the place where she had her first duel against him who had left for a journey a year ago.

She couldn't forget about him. Nothing unusual, though. No one could simply forget the duelist that had saved the world. However, for her, he was different. He wasn't simply just a savior of the world, wasn't just the one of the best duelists at the academy.

To her, he was someone special, someone irreplaceable, someone that held a special position in her heart. He may think that her feelings towards him weren't real, as she once was infatuated by the former best duelist of the academy.

Deep in her heart, she knew that she was serious this time, despite not being taken seriously. She even kept on wearing the Slifer Red jacket. Every night, she thought of him. She knew he had to go, but she just couldn't accept the fact entirely. She even often dreamed about him, only to wake up, finding all those things weren't real. Every time there was a shooting star, she would close her eyes, and wished for him to come back so she could see him every so often, just like back then.

She didn't know what to say on the day he left, and just left a simple message for him on the letter with everyone else's, even though she actually wanted to tell him a lot of things.

She remembered the last time they're dueling together, at the tag dueling tournament, where she had a moment together with him, even if it was a brief one.

Tears rolled down her cheeks, she knew thinking about these things will not do any good, but she just couldn't not thinking about those things. She tried to wipe her tears, but they kept on coming, and she couldn't help but to weep on the moment.

She wanted to see his face, his smile, his dueling. She wanted to hear his voice, she wanted him to call her name once again.

After a moment, she could finally clear out her tears. Still gasping a bit, she gazed at the shining stars, while her eyes were still red, and soon, she stopped crying. She then stood up, but she couldn't stop a drop of tear from rolling down her cheek. She let out a slight smile, while gazing at the stars, wondering if he was doing the same that night.

"I miss you, Judai-sama"

She knew she would meet him again, someday.

Rei Saotome would not give up on Judai Yuki.

That's it. I just want to write this as I just finished watching the series, and I really support this pairing. Sorry if there are grammatical mistakes, and thanks for reading!
