It was a quiet night for the inhabitants of the Destiny Islands. Well, it would have been... except Sora and Riku were in the middle of a fight.

"The paopu fruit is mine!" Sora yelled, pulling one half of the paopu fruit from Riku.

"She's going to share it with me!" Riku shouted back, pulling the other half from Sora.

"No way, Riku! With Me!"

"With me!"

"Would the both of you cut it out?!" Lexus shouted from his bedroom. "Damn, what's a guy gotta do to get some sleep around here?"

Sora and Riku continued to fight in a hushed tone when Luna walked into the room.

"Guys, you need to see this." she insisted. "Follow me."

The two followed Luna out of their small bungalow and onto the beach. In the distance, they could see Kairi and Namine sharing a paopu fruit.

Sora glared at Kairi. "That no good, little two-timing bitch!" he muttered.

"You know what?" Riku realized. "They deserve each other."

Sora pouted. "I hope they have a happy life... in hell!" He brought his attention back to the paopu fruit in his hand, and his anger turned into curiosity. "What do we do with it now?"

"Well," said Riku, "unless we want it to go to waste, there's only one thing we can do."

Sora looked at him in wonder as he was pulled back inside.

The two of them decided to split it and have it to themselves.

"I just don't get it," Riku admitted. "Why would Kairi share a paopu fruit with Namine?"

"Because she's an ass!" Sora replied, arms crossed. "Who needs her? We can do better off single."

Riku grinned. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Sora shrugged. "I don't know. What are you thinking?"

Riku whispered his idea in Sora's ear. Sora made a strange face.

"No way in hell am I doing that with you!" he yelled.

"Come on, Sora," Riku pleaded. "Just give it a try."

Sora sighed. "Oh, alright. Just don't do anything stupid."

Riku laughed and took Sora into his bedroom, posting a "Do Not Disturb" sign outside his door.

Three hours later, Sora and Riku were still at it when Lexus happened to peek in.

"What the hell is going on in here?" Lexus asked, shocked.

The two of them blushed. "Nothing," Sora lied.

Lexus' eyebrows crinkled. "I'm keeping an eye on you two." He walked out of the room, surprised to see them in the same room with their shirts off.

Sora let out a sigh of relief. "I thought he would never leave," he said gratefully.

Riku touched Sora's shoulder. "We still have time, you know," he added.

Sora put his head on Riku's shoulder. "I just want to go to bed. I need the energy to kick Kairi's ass in the morning. Same time, same place tomorrow?"

Riku laughed. "Okay, Sora. Just don't fall asleep..."

He felt a thud on his shoulder. Sora fell asleep against his arm.

"...in here." Damn it, he thought. I'll never get up from this spot.

He looked at Sora. But then again, he thought, why would I want to?

Hence, the creation of SoRiku.
