Jack was your average teenage boy. He felt like he was the center of attention. To every girl he was the hottest boy in school. To every boy he was the quarterback of the football team. Though he was the most popular kid in school he was unhappy.
On the day of the biggest football game of the season Jack ditched school. Jack ditched because he didn't want to play in the football game that night. When he got home his parents yelled at him for ditching school. Jack's principal Mr. Samsung had called Jack's parents and told them he had ditched school. They asked him if he had ditched school was true. Jack told them that it was true. His mom Jill told him no TV, video games, car, or sports. John (Jack's dad) agreed with Jill on Jack's punishment.
The next day when Jill went to wake up Jack she couldn't see him. Jack was still in bed when she came in to wake him up. Jack got out of bed to take a shower when he looked in the mirror he couldn't see himself. Then when Jack went down stairs to eat breakfast his mom saw right through him. Jill decided to take Jack to the doctors office to figure out why he was invisible.
Jack told Jill not to worry about him. Jill drove Jack to school because he couldn't drive himself to school. When Jill got home from dropping Jack off from school John wondered why Jack was invisible. Mr. Samsung called Jill at work to see why Jack wasn't at school. Jill said "Mr. Samsung Jack is at school today I dropped him off there this morning".
That night when Jack got home his mom asked how his day went.
Jack said "I got a lot of paper cuts. I finally wasn't the most popular person today. Today I felt like a normal person."
While Jack was asleep his invisibility finally went away. The next day he was back to normal. He was finally visible. That day he figured out why he hated being popular.
