Love Is Powerful...
(7th July 2010)
The sun is now setting. The distant sight is beautiful across the lake. Magnus and Alec sit on top of the hill. Alec's head rested against Magnus's shoulder, Magnus's arm around Alec, their hands locked.
A beautiful moment, Magnus thought, one I'll keep with me forever, one I could live in forever.
"Magnus?" said Alec, his voice so soft Magnus almost didn't here him.
"Yeah?" Magnus replied.
Alec hesitated. "What will happen to you? Like, after I grow older … die?"
Magnus couldn't even imagine what his life would be like without Alec. What would happen? What will he do? "I … I don't know. I hate to think of it. Having a life without you wont feel like having a life at all."
Alec sighed, partly with relief. He knew Magnus loved him more than anyone. He loved Magnus the same. But one day he will get older. He will die. It's most likely Magnus will move on, forget Alec ever existed.
"I'll never forget, if that's what you're thinking." he says as is he could read Alec's mind. "I'll never fall in love again I think, because you are my true love, I've never wanted anything more than for us to just be together, like a normal couple. I know that wont happen and it claws at my heart every time I remind myself or get reminded."
Alec was quite surprised by the answer. It sounded like Magnus truly meant it. He turned to face Magnus, looking at him with thoughtful eyes. He brings his lips to his lovers, lightly.
"I love you, Alec."
"I love you, too, Magnus."
(One day later.)
"Jace! Hurry up! Izzy and Clary are outside waiting!" Alec shouts to his adopted brother.
"For the angels sake, Alec! I'm coming!"
"Please, don't pack your whole room!"
"I'm here, okay?" Jace comes to the elevator where Alec is standing.
"Finally."
They're all going to Idris for Helen Blackthorn and Aline Penhallow's wedding.
When the elevator stops on the bottom floor they walk out to meet Izzy and Clary.
Jace embraces his girlfriend in a hug, then kisses her lightly on the lips.
"Is Magnus coming?" Isabelle asks her brother.
"I don't know. He is the High Warlock of Brooklyn, he is quite busy." Alec replies.
"Since when was Magnus busy when he isn't with you?" Izzy laughs lightly when Alec blush's at this.
"Let just go." he says hurriedly.
"Going without me?" a voice asks sarcastically from behind.
"Told you he's not busy." Izzy reminds her brother.
Magnus comes and kisses Alec then says, "We'd better go"
The portal drops them outside the Penhallow's home.
