Imperfection

Tasuki sighed as he glanced at the sleeper. They'd been travelling for three years, and he still hadn't told him how he felt.
He's a monk. It's not smart to fall for a monk. Aren't they supposed to be "pure", or something?
He looked pure, even with that scar, which could only be seen at night, when he took off his mask to sleep. The scar added to his perfection. Anyway, wasn't perfection an imperfection? If something was perfect, it is envied, and then hated, thus becoming imperfect. So it was a good thing that his scar marred Chichiri's face.
