"Ahh get it away from me!" Draco Malfoy yells running out of his study followed by an angry Snape. Draco runs down the winding halls eventually running into his parents study.
"Father tell him to get that creature away from me." Six-year-old Draco says pointing to a kitten. Lucius looks at the small animal closely before backing up as well.
"Ah please get that away from me, I mean him." Lucius says standing against the wall with his son.
"Oh please you kill people and play with snakes and some of the most vile creatures that exists and yet you are still afraid of a kitten. Well I am going to do something about this." Snape says with a smirk placing the black kitten on the ground in front of the two blonde males before he closes the large cherry wood door with a bang.
"Dad is he coming back for it?" Draco asks clinging to his fathers' leg as his father clung to him.
"I hope so. Severus ah Severus please come and get it." Lucius says. The kitten sees the two blondes and slowly advances toward them.
"Ah, dad makes it go away!" Draco says now crying. Lucius digs into his black robes looking for his wand and suddenly looks up fearfully.
"Oh no the house elf is cleaning it…I don't have my wand!" Lucius yells grabbing his son and running behind his desk.
"I want mommy!" A now sobbing Draco says as the kitten jumps onto the desk.
"I want mommy too!" Lucius says when the study door suddenly opens revealing a confused Narcissa Malfoy.
"What is going on in here?" Narcissa asks looking from her sobbing son to her terrified husband before she looks at the desk to see the kitten licking himself.
"Oh I see." Narcissa says picking up the kitten and begins petting it.
"Wow! Mommy is so brave." An awe struck Draco says making his mother laugh.
"I know thank Merlin I was forced to marry her." Lucius says.
