Itachi's P.O.V

I sighed before sitting back on the ground in my room. Sasuke, I wish you didn't hate me so. If only my little brother could know that I hadn't murdered our clan on my own wish. It had been an order to protect my village. Now, I had joined some society called the Akatsuki. I stood when a soft tap came on the door of my room. Five, nine, thirteen, six.
"You may enter, Kisame." I called softly. He opened the door, but didn't enter, just stood there looking at me.
"Pein has a mission for us, you ready?" I nodded, before following him out. Wonderful, another mission to make my brother hate me more. We walked down in silence, to get our mission from Pein.

I looked the shinobi directly in the eye. You are mine, now. Tough luck. My genjutsu was cast, and he had no hope of escaping it. His eyes widened, rolled to the back of his head, before he collapsed on to to ground. The large package on his back also fell to the ground. Kisame used a kunai knife to tear it open from a distance. A body tumbled out.
"Is that the girl?"
"Yes. Dark hair, fair skin. This is Ivy Yamaguchi."
"What's that thing on her arm?"
"I don't know and I don't care, Kisame. Let's just get her back to Pein. She is none of our concern unless he tells us that she is, alright?" He nodded and picked her up. She was unconscious, but somehow she still managed to surprise us. We were just walking, when suddenly she began to glow, a bronze aura illuminating her hair and skin. Kisame dropped her suddenly, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead.
"Kisame, what's the matter?" I asked sharply. He exhaled sharply before grinning.
"She's a fiery one." He chuckled, showing me his hand. It was burnt. How? I looked over at the female lying on the ground. The strange aura had vanished. What . . . is this girl? I eyed her.
"Kisame, try to wrap her up, so that she doesn't do that to you again." He nodded, following my instructions. It was easier for him now, I could see that plainly.

When we arrived back at the base, we were told to watch over her until she woke. When she did, we were to report it immediately. I sighed inwardly as I watched her slumber. Why this girl was so important and so powerful, I did not know. But somewhere deep within me, my instincts told me that she would contribute largely to my relationship with Sasuke.

The only issue is, I am not quite sure if she will bring us a little closer or destroy whatever peace we had left.
