Oh Dear Harry, What Have You Done?

"You have 10 seconds head start, Potter," He growled in my face. "Run." Ginny is worried, Ron is livid and Harry's running. Oh dear Harry, What have you done?

Here is a very short (and I mean very short) one-shot between Harry and Ginny. I know it's not too good, but any constructive criticism is welcome. Enjoy :)

Disclaimer: As much as I wish I were JK Rowling, I am not, so apologies for borrowing your characters JK.

"Harry! Harry!"

I looked up from reading the Daily Prophet in front of the fire in the common room to see Ginny running through the portrait hole, her Weasley red hair flying wildly behind her. The anxious expression on her face was soon explained when I noticed Ron close behind her in the corridor outside. He looked livid.

"Shit" I threw down the newspaper, jumped to my feet and grabbed Ginny's hand was she ran to my side.

"How did he find out?" I asked quickly.

"He overheard me talking to Hermione in the Library."

Ginny doesn't worry easily, but this is something that we had been dreading for weeks.

I squeezed Ginny's petite hand with my own Quidditch calloused one as the portrait slammed open.

"POTTER!" Ron roared.

"Oh dear, what have you done Harry?" Neville's murmur was echoed by the sounds of other people in the room voicing the same question.

"Really Ronald, would you calm down?" Hermione was trying to hold Ron back as he stormed into the room. Her normally bushy hair was standing more on end than usual and her cheeks were flushed. Ron shrugged off the hand tugging on his arm and moved to stand toe-to-toe with me. His flame coloured hair was mirrored in his face, giving him the appearance of a tomato. Ron, being the quick-tempered Weasley that he is, prodded his wand into my chest and glared at me.

"You have 10 seconds head start, Potter," He growled in my face. "Run."

I gave Ginny's hand one final squeeze before running out of the common room, not bothering to look back to check if Ron was actually counting.

"I love you Ginny!" I shouted over my shoulder as I jumped through the portrait hole and sprinted in the general direction of the Room of Requirement.

"That's it! Screw 10 seconds. You're dead Harry!"
