Disclaimer: Hey pplz. This is my own poetry based on Kel and when she was growing up in the Yamani Islands. I own the poem, but I don't own Kel, whose thoughts these are supposed to be.
Speaking Within
I am alone.
No one else must know me.
I must feel nothing.
I must say nothing.
At least, nothing out loud.
But I can still speak within.
Speak within myself.
Draw within to myself.
I cannot feel.
I must not feel.
For feeling is weak.
To feel will cause pain.
To feel, I will fall.
I have fallen already,
But I will persevere.
A/N I know, I know, some of the vocabulary wouldn't necessarily be in a young girl's mind, but hey, some girls do have a large vocabulary, and Kel is pretty smart, so I thought, what the heck, just put it in. Please review! I'd love you for ever and ever! (well not literally, but you know what I mean!)
