A city. A metropolis. Painting the navy above with yellow and white pollution. Most people refer to that as light, but with a city as empty as the one before me, it's nothing more than pollution, the waves seeping through the windows. I can't stop staring at the lights, now burning my eyes. So bright, they light up the thin fog, covering the city in a dream-like white. The city is silent, a quiet happiness is surrounding me, but I long for nothing more than to walk away. Breathing in the clean air on last time, I step forward, into the thick uncertainty.
