Spoilers: "Death In The Saddle" & "Passenger In The Oven"

As Booth and Brennan sat on the plane, waiting for their turn around to head back home, the laughter between them faded into a comfortable silence. That was, until Brennan decided to break it, "Booth. What did you mean earlier?"

"A little vague Bones, need more info than that."

"When I was examining the body. You said to take off the glasses, shake out my hair and ask you if you knew what the penalty was for an overdue book. I did. After you left I mean, but I still didn't get what you meant."

By now, Booth was beginning to flush the colour of a tomato. I still can't believe I had to open my mouth and say that to her. He thought to himself. "Ah…its nothing Bones. I was just…being stupid. I was, you know, playing around. Don't worry about it."

"Were you insinuating some kind of sexual fantasy, because that's the only thing I could think of."

"Will you guys just make out already?!" came the shout of one very drunk and therefore very happy murder suspect who was currently sat in coach awaiting their arrival back on US soil.

"Quiet!" Booth barked.

Booth let out a long sigh and looked over at Bones. "Yes Bones, I was. I was messing around."

"I thought you didn't like to indulge on role playing in sexual situations."

"That was different!" he exclaimed, "They were pony-play freaks! I don't wanna do that. It's just plain wrong!"

"Its not wrong Booth. Its just your Catholic upbringing. And…you just admitting you like role-play." Brennan decided to tease.

"I did not!"

"Did too! Do you want me to rustle up some glasses when we get back? That came out wrong. I didn't mean so we could…"

"I get it Bones. You just like to make fun of me even though I keep saving your ass. You know, one day I'm not gonna do it because all this hassle, right here, between us. Its not worth it." He teased back, he loved seeing her flustered.

Brennan looked at him one more time, trying to gauge if he was kidding of actually telling the truth. Seeing the twinkle in his eyes let her know he was only joking. With a teasing grin flashed back his way, Brennan just pulled the eye cover back over her eyes and lay back down in her seat. The next thing she felt was a pair of lips resting lightly on hers as Booth leaned over her.

"Sweet dreams Bones. I know I'm gonna have some!"

And with that, both partners were able to finally sleep undisturbed for the rest of the flight back home. And both had grins on their faces.
