Here are some extracts - teasers- for my first fan fiction, which I have began writing. It is based on Tim Burtons 2010 Alice in Wonderland. I know I'm not the best writer but I hope that it will be good enough to please a few people. I am going to start posting chapters soon but thought I might post a small taste. Review if you want and cc is always welcome. Also, my oc may sound a bit like a Mary-sue right now, but she isn't, don't worry lol.

The figure wore a decorated veil over it's face, but the rest of its clothes were obviously for fighting rather then showing off. This was supported by the rather nasty looking collection of weapons that adorn the figure that now stood before Alice. A long bow and quiver lay across it's back, a curved dagger was strapped to each thigh, and a vicious looking sword hung at it's side. The handle was fashioned to look like the clawed paw of a bird. The blade's colour, however, was the most eye-catching part of the figures attire. The blade shone with a black so deep that one got the impression that if you stared too long, you would become lost in your reflection forever.
"Who are you?" Asked Alice
"I am the ruler of the Outer, Inner, and Under lands and all within their domains. Soon The Upperland will also know my name, " The figure spoke with a voice that betrayed her as feminine, which was confirmed by her next words.
"I am the Black Queen!"
Alice noticed her friends strange behaviour and touched him on the shoulder..."hatter?" He started at her touch, as through returning from a dream, but smiled widely when he saw it was only Alice."Its her head... I should very much like to hat it..." and sipped his tea, trying to ignore that sensation in the back of his mind... the feeling that he had forgotten something, something very important...
