I haven't read the book in a while, so some things may be wrong. Anyways, this is Longtail's death in his POV and how I think he acted. Also, the few words is from the book. I hope that's not a problem.

"Then I'll get it!"

The ThunderClan elder ripped away from Mousefur, determined to get the prey from her even though blindness made everything so confusing without Mousefur as a guide.

Longtail pushed away the sound of the tree groaning and cracking sounds looming above him. Mousefur wanted that mouse, so she was going to get it! The elders den was drawing near, but he could feel Briarpaw's breath billowing around the tip of his lengthy tail. Huffing, he pushed onward.

The mouse scent was coming clearer with each paw step, the rain crashing down his yellow pelt hardly washing away the still warm scent. Briarpaw halted to a stop."It's too dangerous!" She suggested. Longtail dismissed her with a flick of his tail. "I'm still going," Longtail hissed, still keeping his pace. I'm so close to the den! Why is she worried?

Longtail approached the den, glad there was a roof hanging above to keep his pelt from getting drenched. Briarpaw, not caring about his words, was at his tail. He sniffed around, desperately reaching a fore paw for the half eaten mouse.

Crack!

Longtail stiffened, a pain that shook his body causing him to collapse. The sounds of the pattering rain was stopped instantly.

His sight began to regain after several heartbeats, the sound of the lightning and rain coming back as well. Joy filled his heart. He could see! He escaped his lifeless body and the joy fizzed away.

I'm dead... What will Mousefur think?

"Stop worrying!" A she cat hissed. He whipped around, a black cat with yellow eyes staring at him. "Yellowfang!"

Longtail padded up to her, rubbing against her starry pelt. "Why are you here?" He meowed once he slipped away from her. "I'm here to take you to StarClan." The former medicine cat explained. Longtail sighed. "Okay. Where's Briarpaw? Isn't she coming with us?"

Yellowfang shook her head. "No. She is still alive, do not worry." Relief stabbed Longtail's heart as he searched for the apprentice. A moan filled the air, the voice clearly twisted with pain. "Are you coming or not?" Yellowfang grumbled behind him. Longtail raised his chin. "Of course. I am ready to leave this life behind and join my warrior ancestors."

Yellowfang let out a rusty purr and ran her tail along his starry flank. "Good. Come with me, the journey won't be long."

That's it for Longtail's death. I can't really say if I'm happy with it or not. If you see any mistakes I did then please point them out. If you also have a suggestion, then I'll be happy to do it. Thanks!
