It was raining today like most other days, but today was worse than most days because it had been 278 days since I stated loving her, but I had to promise Edward that I would let her grow up.
I walked out of the forest towards Sam and Emily's house with my Sam at my side. We were discussing the arrangements of the two packs and where they would fit in on the reservation and on Cullen land. We walked in and sat at the table Emily gave a brief smile and murmured her hellos, she could tell that I was not in the mood for happy imprint stuff and away in my own little world. Sam offered me dinner I accepted knowing that I was just buying time till I had to face Edward and his "ability".
Sam excused himself and said he was going to check on Josh junior. Emily moved closer to me and placed her hand on my arm and told me there was time for a quick walk by the cliffs before dinner. I looked at her with complete and utter confusion she smiled at me and told me that the air around the cliffs smells like freesias.
At this point the light bulb went off and I was half way out the door. I practically ran the whole way there, the first thing I saw was two legs hanging off the edge. She was sprawled out on the grass so I sat down beside her. We sat there for what felt like hours. I reached out and touched her hand but she withdrew it and proceeded to get up and move towards the forest.
What no she couldn't leave me ,what have I done. I called out to her and was catching up to her when she turned to face me. She looked at me as if asking for permission, next thing her lips are on mine, she begins to move away so I move my lips too. I heard a light chuckle from her and it made me happy. Eventually she did pull away and said "I always wondered what that felt like".
She wasn't getting away that easily so I pull her back in; I was going to get killed by Edward tonight.
