Love Me Again

The Reichenbach Fall – alternative. In which John and Sherlock have been together in a relationship since The Great Game, however Sherlock didn't jump from St Barts rooftop and Moriarty has taken Watson. Flashbacks and violence ensured, extremely angsty. There will be fluff and smut included - and a possible happy ending. All the Baker Street regulars are roaming around aswell.

Prelude

Authors Note: As you can read from the description. Love Me Again is based off an alternative plotline to The Reichenbach Fall. John and Sherlock have been together since The Great Game after Sherlock realised how dangerous their lives had been since he saw John strapped with a bomb and how easily he could loose the chance to tell John how much he loved him.

They didn't become official until around the case of The Hounds of Baskerville. After becoming public, and the media hype around Sherlock, Moriarty was ready to put his plan into action. The plotline follows the same basic outline as The Reichenbach Fall, inclusive of their relationship, except when Sherlock plans to meet Moriarty on the roof. As John marches his way out of the hospital to go to Mrs Hudsons side he calms somewhat from his infuriation at Sherlocks reaction. Realising, before he got out of the hospital, that something more was happening, he stays behind to spy on Sherlock to see what ridiculous idea he had in mind. Following him up onto the roof he interrupts Moriarty and Sherlock, which leads to Sherlock being pushed off the roof and Moriarty takes John to torture him.

This is based a couple of months after that fateful day, John is constantly tortured by Moriarty and his men but hangs on with the hope that Sherlock survived. Which he did, awaking from a coma weeks after his fall, as he had effectively planned his survival with Molly from what should have been his suicide. Flashbacks on their relationship and other moments prior to John's torture are recounted, along with the attempts to get the two Baker boys reunited and Mycroft's desperation to right his wrong.
