As an assignment, Mr Schue asks the old and new directions to write a letter to Santa about what the want this year. These are the letters that they wrote that no one was meant to see. Eighteen days, eighteen letters. Eighteen wishes.

1. Rachel

Dear Saint Nicolas,

I'm writing this not because I believe in you, but because this year Mr Schuester asked all of us to, new and old directions. I feel as though you need some guidance in what you should get us all this year.

I know many people have no food, or homes, or beds to sleep in or family to share this time with, and that I am more fortunate than them, so this Christmas I want happiness for everyone. I used to think Christmas was about the presents, but I was wrong. It's about being with those you love and Cherish, and those little things; that one smile, those crappy Christmas jokes, the songs around the tree, the films, the lights, but there's more than that. It's also about who you're with, I see that now. And even though one part of me is missing, I know that I'll be with him in spirit. So, happiness all round!

This year hasn't been easy so please do whatever it takes.
