Author Note: okay so this is a christmas present for my friend Emily, because she loves Nick Jonas. So I said I would write her a christmas themed story. Because I'm so nice like that. So, Emsy, here;s your story.

Summery:

It's the first year of Camp Rock Boarding Academy. Nate is a Freshman, Shane is a Junior and Jason isn't even there, being to busy planning his wedding. Nate is finding himself infatuated with the pretty brunnette girl named Emily in his cabin group. When she spends Christmas with at CRBA, Nate decides to make his move.

Nate made his way down the path toward where Emily was standing. The 14 year old was caught in the embrace of the school's player, Drew Gondo. She seemed to be pushing him away. Nate rolled his eyes and walked over, grabbing Drew "Let's keep our hands to ourselves, cause I know you aren't dating her."

"And how would you know that?" Drew asked angrilly.

"Because she happens to be my best friend" Nate said.

"More like Girlfriend" Drew snorted, walking off.

Nate sighed. Not yet, but I want her to be.He thought, "Emily, are you hurt?"

"Nope." The brunnette said as Nate wrapped his arm around her. She shivered into his arms "He wouldn't listen"

Nate nodded "That kid thinks he's God's gift to women." He said "He's like Shane before Mitchie got a hold of him. Only Shane would never walk up and prevent to the girl from leaving him"

Emily nodded "I know. and Shane always had an ounce of good in his heart, even when he was being a jerk. Drew was born with a blackhole for a heart."

"Shouldn't you be packing to go home for christmas?"

"My Aunt told me that I am not allowed to come home. Oh, and I'm supposed to ask if I can stay over the summer"

Nate grinned "Yeah, you can go to Camp, but there's still a month you'd be home in between. But you could probably go on tour with us"

Emily smiled up at him "Nate, what would I do without you?"

"A girl as pretty as you- you'd probably get raped by Drew"

"He was trying it" Emily shrugged "I hate him"

Nate laughed and hugged her "Let's go get lunch, I'm starving and Connie made her famous Torres Burgers for Lunch"

Emily sighed "If I never saw another burger again, I'd be happy."

"She'd probably let you make a salad with chicken on it or something, she thinks your great- and she chases Shane around with a broom if he asks. If you asked, she's be thrilled to let you."

"That's cause I'm Mitchie's friend, not her boyfriend" Emily said, as she and Nate began walking down the path towards the mess hall.

Mitchie and Shane were talking about Christmas Presents when Emily and Nate walked over with their trays. Nate had a Santa Hat on and was frowning. Shane snorted and opened his mouth. "Not a word, Shane." Nate growled.

Emily sat down in between Mitchie and Caitlyn "He's just upset that I can bat my eyes and make him put goofy hats or outfits on" She informed Caitlyn.

Caitlyn snorted "You have him wrapped around your finger- and you aren't even dating. If I tried to convince Zack to do that, he'd just laugh at me. and Mitchie would get kicked to curb if She even thought about putting a Santa Hat on Shane."

Emily shrugged "So, how about that Miley Cyrus"

"Slut" Mitchie said.

"Whore" Caitlyn said, nodded.

"Bitch" Nate muttered under his breath

"She's so hot' Shane said. Nate smacked him "What, she is hot"

Nate shook his head "Whatever. She's a whore and a slut and a bitch and that's all I know"

Emily grinned and began eating. Nate picked his burger up and dropped it "Crap"
