A/N: 100 word challenge: "tree"
Ryan grunted as he and Kirsten brought the large tree into the house.
"Seth! Get off your butt now!" Kirsten yelled.
"Mom, don't say 'butt'!" Seth turned the comic book page.
Kirsten and Ryan shared an exasperated look. Ryan attempted to tilt the tree so that they could line it up with the stand when the phone rang. Seth hurried to grab it. He knocked into Ryan, sending the tree careening into the glass table.
Ryan got his thirty-fifth stitch.
"Seth, you're Ryan's maid until the stitches come out." Kirsten ordered.
Seth gulped. He knew Ryan would make him pay.
