"Hey Cas, can you get my phone from the kitchen?" Dean looked up from his computer for the first time in about three hours. He was helping Sam with his research more than usual. This week's case was something about Pandora.

Castiel squinted in Dean's direction, but got up without a word. He knew his boyfriend was working hard so, he couldn't honestly blame him.

He walked slowly down the dark hallway. Flicking the light as he entered the kitchen, he immediately turned towards the counter and spotted the plain black phone.

Cas walked over and reached his hand out for it, only to see something practically guarding it.

It was a more than average-sized brown spider with freakishly long hairy legs to support itself.

It turned it's body, moving one leg at a time, to stare directly at Castiel.

Cas' eyes went wide as his breathing turned more and more frantic.

"DEAN!" Castiel screeched. He wasn't really afraid of many of God's creations but... Spiders? He was fairly certain God created those as some sort of sick joke for almost all species of life.

Dean busted through the kitchen with an Angel blade, sliding across the floor, eventually skidding to a halt. "Cas! What's wrong?!" He said running towards Castiel.

"Dean! There is a spider!" Cas' breathing was still coming in quick gasps, but now he had started pacing as sweat rolled down the side of his cheek. He looked towards Dean expecting the same expression, but what he got was...

Nothing.

Dean's face was completely blank as his gaze switched between the Spider and his panicking Angel. He honestly didn't know what to say or how to react to the situation... So he grinned, smirked, then all out laughed at him.

He laughed and laughed until, he was almost as red in the face as Castiel. It's just when you think about it, Cas has been to hell twice, fought off Demons, and has died multiple times for Dean himself and yet, he's afraid of an insect the size of an eraser. The more he thought about it, the harder he laughed.

"There is nothing humorous about this situation Dean! This is a real threat!" Castiel tried to defend himself, but Dean only laugh harder if that was possible.

Cas' face burning with embarrassment, he glared down at the other man's hunched form.

After a good minute of deep, scratchy, laughter, Dean leaned back up and composed himself.

"Oh Angel, I'm sorry." Dean walked over to Cas, arms wide open. "C'mere."
