Axel and Lioness New Year After the Serpent's Tail

Axel was annoyed with Hawk trying to make himself famous he decided to take a break from the team for a day even through it was busy since it was New Year's Day.

"Can't Hawk accept it he is never going to be famous." He groaned.

Then he saw someone going behind him he knew the footsteps very well.

"Oh hi Li." He said.

"Axel I'm sorry I know you want peace and quiet but something is bugging you worse than Hawks' futile attempts to make himself famous I just want to help." Said Lioness.

Axel nodded he knew Lioness was better at calming him down than anyone besides King.

"You know you can talk to me Axel." Said Lioness.

"Yeah it's just that when Lee had us in those dreams machines he had me in a Lee-version of the future of Mu-Cops Tillian-style and you guys not remembering me especially since you were with Shark." Sighed Axel. "I understand if you want to leave me alone now."

"Axel Shark is a good pal but he's not my type and I don't see him that way since he has Rachel and I have my eyes on a cute guy standing right in front of me." Said Lioness putting her hand on Axel's shoulder. "Axel I will help you find your Dad I promise."

Then Axel and Lioness hugged.

"Thanks Li. Oh. Also Li I have had some strong feelings for you." Said Axel holding Lioness even closer. "What I am trying to say is I have had these strong feelings for you since we first met I love you Catalina. I understand if you don't feel the same."

"Oh but I do feel the same Axel I really do and I really love you too Axel ever since we first met and you rescued me about….106 times for the past 3 years." Said Lioness getting hold of Axel's hand.

Then they kissed as the fireworks went off as it became the new year.

Then Garrett appeared on their Alpha-Cons.

"Hey Guys Paine and Magness are teaming up." Said Garrett.

"We're on our way." Said Axel and Lioness together they kissed each other while Garrett smiled.

"About time our two heroes came together." He smiled happily as he saw the new Airjet drive off after Paine and Magness.

"Gear it up." Called Axel and Lioness as they drove to stop two of their arch-enemies.
