The story of Mr. Jones father.

This is the story of how Mr. Jones came to own Manor Farm in the first place. It all starts with Mr. Jones's father, Joseph Jones, 46 years before the animals took over. Joseph was a poor man who was kind and gentle. He had just lost his job at the car factory and was unemployed. It was looking grim until he found an old ramshackle barn and a old farm house in a field.

There was a for sale sign on it. The owner of the farm was an old man who lived on the farm for years. He lived by himself and all his animals had passed away. He decided to sell the property because he wanted to live in a retirement home where someone would take care of him. Joseph offered to buy the farm. As he was escorted inside to make a deal, he thought of what he would do with the farm, if he could afford it. He would have many animals: cows, pigs, sheep, horses, dogs, chickens, and maybe even a cat. Him and his family would go down to the field every morning, greet and feed the animals, and then work in the field. His field would have numerous amounts of vegetables and fruit growing, every week they would have a harvest. The farm would not only provide a joy to Joseph, but a living. The farm would be enough to provide for his family. He got even more excited when he saw what the asking price was. $120. It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was affordable so he bought it. Him and his family moved in the next day.

The Jones family consisted of 3 members. Joseph, his wife Maria, and their son, Anthony (now Mr. Jones). Anthony always complained about having to live on a farm. "Isn't it bad enough I have to go to school"? He asked. His father always repeated the same response. "You're lucky you have anything now stop whining". That night, Joseph and Maria planned on what they would do to get the farm up and running. They decided they would repair the barn and plant a few crops to start.

Next day, they got up a 6:00 and started early. Joseph was working on the barn when he spotted 2 round figures. He dropped his wrench and ran over to them. Just as he thought, pigs. "White boars" said a voice. Maria had seen him running and had caught up with him. There was one adult female, one adult male. He called them Tom and Michelle. They had appeared to be separated from a pack of wild pigs, yet they acted kindly toward the farmer and his wife. Tom and Michelle were the first animals on Manor farm, and at the time, proud of it.

5 years later, there were 4 more white boars than normal. Tom and Michelle had given birth to Washington, Elliot, Collie, and Peggy. A year after that, Tom dies. Michelle dies a week later. They were buried under the only tree on the farm, a lime tree. Everyone was devastated, even Anthony. He had grown to hate the work, but not the animals.

Years passed and 3 weeks after Anthony's 24th birthday, Maria passed away. By now the farm was nearly exactly what Joseph had pictured it years ago. There is no way to describe how Joseph felt that day, but that night, Joseph disappeared, leaving Anthony to take care of the farm.

As the years poured by, Peggy and Washington give birth to a boar named Major. He is looked up to by many, as being a lead figure on Manor farm. 8 years pass and Anthony does not work. The animals do. He spends his time getting drunk and watching TV. This takes us to the time when old major dies. This is how Mr. Anthony Jones comes to posses Manor farm.
