I don't own kyuranger. Enjoy!
"Why do we have to travel through another jungle?" Hammy whined.
"Intel said we are likely to find the kyutama we need on this planet," Stinger replied.
"We'll find it in no time!" Lucky exclaimed.
"I hope so, who knows what kind of animals are out here."
"Hammy, there are probably some sort of large cats, snakes, bugs..."
"Naga, she didn't really want to know that," Balance informed as Hammy gave a shiver at the thought.
"Don't look now Hammy, but there are some snakes around here," Lucky noticed a few hanging from the trees.
Naga whispered just loud enough for the group to hear, "Just stay calm so they don't take you as a threat."
"How can I stay calm when they are all over the place!"
Stinger asked, "You are a ninja right? Aren't ninjas good at being calm?"
"Not when they are afraid of snakes!"
"I think you are talking too loud, there's a few approaching," Balance realized.
Naga stepped in front and knelt down, greeting one of the snakes, "they are nice if you treat them well."
"Let's just get out of here," Hammy said rushing forward. Unfortunately, she didn't see the tail of a snake hiding under some leaves. Before she even realized what happened, it had it's jaws around her wrist.
Naga rushed over and carefully released it's jaws and let it slither away.
"We probably need to get her to the ship," Lucky analyzed.
Stinger noticed Hammy's arm slowly turning dark, "I have an antivenom," he flicked his tail up.
Hammy was too shocked to even respond, her eyes growing wide with panic.
"Stinger, you have scorpion antivenom. Snakes are just a little different."
"It's better than nothing, Naga."
"Can I?" Naga whispered to Hammy who nodded slowly. He stuck his mouth around the bite.
"You do know that sucking the venom out is only a myth right?" Stinger groaned.
"Just let him work," Balance responded.
Naga soon swished the taste around in his mouth before spitting it out on the ground. He wrapped his mouth over the bite once more.
As soon as he pulled away, the darkness started retreating.
"Super lucky!"
"How did you do that?" Stinger wondered.
Naga lifted his mouth and stuck out two fangs.
"Don't forget he's from a snake system."
Hammy was finally calming down a bit as Naga rubbed circles on her back, "Balance, I really do not want to think about snakes right now. Let's please just get out of here." There were only two little red bite marks on her skin now, and the pain had mostly retreated.
Another five minutes walk and they were out of the forest and in sight of the shrine the kyutama was at. The mission went pretty quick but it was one Hammy would never forget. She also would never forget to drag Naga along to any planets snakes resided.
