The boys and South are from Red vs Blue and are owned by Roosterteeth. HOWEVER, I made AUs of them in a Hogwarts Next-Gen RP and this is how my boys became friends.
Once upon a time, there were two boys. One was funny and outgoing, his name was York. The other was grumpy and liked to be alone, his name was Wash. The boys' parents were both in the army and deployed to the same base so they were both sent to the same daycare.
York immediately noticed the quiet new boy and decided to become friends with him. Wash rejected the sudden attention and ran away from York. Right into the back of Sophie Dakota, aka South.
South was a grumpy girl, who was jealous of any attention other's got. She'd noticed how Wash was getting York's attention and started throwing abuse at him, calling him stupid and a loser and making fun of him because he had no friends. Wash was hurt and ready to cry when York showed up.
Angry at South for hurting Wash just because she was a jealous brat, York shoved her down (possibly risking her twin's future wrath) and dragged Wash away. When they were safe, York gave him half his peanut butter and fluff sandwich to cheer him up and they were friends for ever after.
