Defying Fate
Disclaimer: however much I wish they did, the characters do not belong to me and I'm not making any money out of this.
Authors Note: this is my first ever fic, so this chapter may be a bit confusing, and not as good as it could be.
Chapter 1: The Fates
Some weird sort of misty black place
Harry seemed to be drifting around in some kind of weird black mist. An image of Remus Lupin, and Sirius Black appeared, and…could that be his father?
(Yes, Sirius is alive like I said in the summary and no, I don't know why. Yet).
"Remus, Sirius?" he wasn't aware that he'd moved his lips, but his voice could be heard, echoing around wherever he was.
"Harry? Is that you?" the voice of his former professor sounded in his head from no particular direction.
"Moony?" that was Sirius' voice "I think I just saw James, what's going on?"
A booming voice suddenly echoed around……wherever they where.
"what is a human doing here"
"he was wrongly sent here from earth against the wishes of us, the Fates" a second voice joined the conversation
"if he doesn't go back, the elements will not be united, the Dark Lord will prevail" a third voice said
"what should we do" voice 1
"we have to send him back" voice three
"but no one has ever been sent back before" voice two
"we must" voice 1
"it has been decided" they said in unison
Suddenly the mist was on fire, and began swirling around Harry; everything was a blurred vortex of colour. Harry felt himself being dragged down it, away from his two friends.
"Sirius!" he yelled "Remus!"
He shot bolt upright on his bed, gasping for air.
So, what d'you think? The next chapter will be longer, I promise. Please feel free to congratulate or criticise and hit that button saying REVIEW!
