I wake in a different room. Teresa is there along with three guys that I've never seen before. Teresa and I make eye contact and then look at the guy who looks to be the oldest. He's middle aged and has rat-like features.
"Who are you?" I ask as Teresa asks,
"Where are we?"
"My name is Janson. I work for WICKED." Teresa's eyes grow wide and she looks at me again.
"What do you want?" One of the boys asks.
"Calm down Luke. I will explain the plan, I assure you. But first I must warn you. If you don't do as I tell you to do your friends will die. Specifically Thomas, Minho and Sharon. Unfortunately we have no one's safety to threaten you with, Aris, seeing as Rachel is already gone, but that is fine. You will simply help if you wish to keep your own life."
"What are you talking about?" I ask.
"I, Echo, am talking about what the four of you are going to do."
"Which is?" The boy, Luke, asks.
"You are to go to the people I mentioned, Thomas, Minho and Sharon, and make them feel completely betrayed. You are to take them to a certain area in the Scorch and push them into a door that will be in a cave. You will tell them that once in there, they will be killed, they won't of course, but telling them that will certainly add to the feeling of betrayal. Echo and Luke, you will take Minho and Sharon here," Janson says, pulling out a map and showing us a spot on the map. "You need to get them there before they're deadline."
"What deadline?" Luke asks.
Janson smirks at us. "You'll see. Now, Teresa and Aris, you will work together on getting Thomas here," He shows them a spot on the map, "Again, you must get him there before the deadline. Teresa, you and Aris will be switching places. Aris will go to group A and Teresa will go to group B. Echo and Luke, you will be staying where you are. Now, unfortunately that is all I can tell you for now and I must be going. Oh, and we will be watching you. If you breath a word of this to any of your friends, you and the ones you care about will die." As soon as he is done speaking I start to get really tired. I fight to stay awake and I see the others falling asleep too. Unfortunately, I am not able to stop myself from falling asleep.

This time I am looking at a screen. There is a picture of Minho pulled up. The screen spins him around and zooms in on the back of his neck to show a tattoo that is there. It says, Property of WICKED. Group A, Subject A7. The leader.
Next a picture of Newt comes up. Again it zooms into a tattoo located on the back of his neck. His says, Property of WICKED. Group A, Subject A5. The glue.
The next person was Thomas. His says, Property of WICKED. Group A, Subject A2. To be killed by Group B.
More and more pop up on the screen, one after the other. All of them say Group A and Property of WICKED. Finally, My picture comes up on the screen. It zooms in on my screen and I see the tattoo printed there on my neck. Property of WICKED. Group A, Subject A22. The dreamer.
A shudder goes down my back. The dreamer. That proves it. WICKED has been planting these dreams in my head. It also proves two other truly horrifying things. The first, we never left WICKED, they still control us, we are still in this. And the second, Something worse than the Maze is about to happen to us.
