As she walks out across the broken pavement,
Ready for another long practice,
She remembers herself two years ago,
And realized just how much this has changed her.
It was the first day of a huge commitment.
She was terrified and totally thrilled beyond belief.
The whole concept was intimidating.
What if she couldn't do it?
That year was tough. She went through many changes,
All stressful and seemingly impossible to overcome.
But the thought of this makeshift family made her feel
Like she was, for once, a part of something great.
BANG! The loud noise pulled her back into reality.
Looking around she saw the most familiar and comfortable place in the world.
But the end is rapidly approaching.
Only one year left of an era.
