Major Montana Max thought about these verses of the Edda as he saw the army of undead that his archenemy Alucard just summoned and now are attacking the Knights of the Vatican.
"Ja, this is truly Ragnarok, our ancestors knew it" the Major explained with a smiling face.
"Loki
came with the nail-ship, a ship made out of the teeth and fingernails
of the dead, to bring destruction over his fellow gods,
he
has called his Son the Fenriswolf and the Midgardsnake, to help him"
the
Major said with glee.
"And now they fight with mankind's greatest Warriors, but no one, not even the warriors of Valhalla, who died in Honour to fight for the Gods in the afterlife can stop the raging Monsters" he explained as he looked down at this beautiful mess, his soldiers died side by side with the Vatican knights at the hands of this Ghoul Army.
His
speech was interrupted by Walther who served him some tea.
"It
seems you can read my mind Butler" he nipped on his tea,
"You
will also get a chance to die in battle, in service of your Gods"
Walters response was a mechanical nod..
The soldiers of Millennium and the Vatican died in the hundreds on the streets, it seems now one can stop Alucards Army, but the Major just smiles and rants about mythology caring for nothing except his amusement.
He watched this divine slaughter for sometime, as the knights of the Vatican flew; only the agents of Iscariot were left.
The Major began to clap his hands slowly at the sight of this butchering, he knew what will happen know.
"Wotan
is coming to fight the Fenriswolf, unfortunately he will die but his
family will revenge him"
As
expected he saw Alexander Anderson attacking Alucard, after a short
skirmish Alucard disappeared behind his Army still mocking Anderson.
The
Priest was already heavily wounded but his Vigour seems to increase
the more hopeless his situation is.
"Ja,
you are truly Walvater, you are truly a God, Father Anderson"
The
leader of Millennium said with a shark smile.
"This is
going to be a nice end of the world don't you think so too,
Gentleman?"
Schrödinger
and Doc only grinned and Walther just nodded mechanically.
"Ja, it will be a nice end"

Valhalla: The place where the warriors who died honourably in battle, live there afterlife.
