Author's Notes: So, um, hi. I just wanted to say that this AU is more of a "school-life" type setting and that even though all the mafia business is cool, it more than likely won't be brought up until later chapters. But wait! If it's not mafia related then Why are Reborn, Gokudera, Mukuro, and Chrome there? Because it's hard writing without them. They're part of the main cast and you gotta admit khr wouldn't be khr without them. So anyways if you have anymore question them just PM me or leave a review and I will more than likely answer them! Now, onwards!
Tsuna has a pet cat. This cat has all black fur except for its stomach. His stomach is white, as well as his paws. They are also white. The cat's name is Hibari. Tsuna's mother thought it would cute and ironic to name a cat after a type of bird.
Now Tsuna likes his cat... for the most part at least. To be honest, he's afraid of his cat. Hibari likes to glare and scratch at him whenever he gets a chance. His cuts get especially deep after Tsuna's tripped or did something stupid, and Hibari's in the vicinity to see it. But Hibari also has his good points! Such as always staying clean, never leaving a mess, and somehow always manage to make Tsuna feel like an idiot with his condescending glare. Actually wait, that last one's not good at all.
But that's not the point. The point is, Hibari is great cat and Tsuna has a love/hate relationship with him.
Tsuna has never really been good at waking up for school on his own. Whenever his alarm clock goes off, he'll ignore it in favor of more sleep. But sometimes Hibari will take a nap in Tsuna's room. If he happens to be in there on a school day and it's morning, he'll be rudely awakened by the weird thing that's supposed to wake the teenage boy, not him.
Whenever this happens, Hibari likes to jump onto Tsuna's—like he's doing now— and sit on the boy's chest. He'll stare at him for a moment and then suddenly raise his paws with his claws out attack Tsuna's face!
Now Tsuna, now awake and in pain, will jolt awake and hold his face while screaming in agony. He'll sit up and shut his alarm clock off while clenching his teeth and trying not to cry. During all of this, Hibari will calmly jump off Tsuna and resume his position wherever he was previously napping and go back to sleep.
