I wake in the night again falling through the air with music ringing in my ears.

floating, weightless
calling, calling home...
It's like this every night. Falling through the air into nothingness. Is this my brain telling me I'm dying? Falling from life into eternal peace. Except for the figure next to me holding me close while I scream. A figure I now know to be Gene Hunt. Every night he helps me through the nightmare that engulfs me. And that song keeps going on and on in my head.
Far beneath the ship
the world is mourning
they don't realise

but Major Tom sees
now the life commands

I will not die. I know that now. This dream is telling me not to give up I just know it. And so we go into the final chorus and it's time to let go and free fall.
