Pre-made Moments
Brennan was slowly falling asleep in the passenger seat of Booths S.U.V. her gaze was focused on the intense stare of her partner. He was looking out over the horizon at something she would never guess, but by the look on his face it was important to him.
"What are you staring at?" It came out sounding a little annoyed.
Booth shifted and blinked a few times "Nothing" He said quietly.
"You are concentrating on something Booth, and it isn't nothing" She says reluctantly sitting up properly.
"Concentration can be held on nothing, as long as you can see your thoughts" It just tumbled out of him from nowhere.
Brennan raised an eyebrow quite impressed "Ark… Original work Booth."
"Yes Bones I read" He glimpsed at her a smug grin on his face.
"What else have you read from her works?" Bren asks with minor interest.
"Fire, nothing is complete without fire. Be it emotional or physical" she could tell he was enjoying this.
"Anything else?" She looked at him carefully.
"Every couple waits for the right moment, be it at a beach, in a forest glade, They all expect the perfect moment to come their way" He suddenly pulled over.
Brennan narrowed her gaze; she had never heard this before and with him pulling over her mind was full of confusion.
"Waiting for the perfect moment can take years even an eternity" He unbelted himself and turned to look at Brennan.
She shied back a little and frowned "Booth?" It came out a mere squeak of what she had planned to be a bark or even a roar.
"But what they always forget is, every moment is perfect… they just come and go… The sun… Romantic or not it still sets!" Booth leaned closer to Brennan "Its just ones perception of a moment that holds them back" He tenderly ran his fingers over her cheek down to her chin.
Brennan was frozen on the spot as both of them are suddenly basked in a orange glow, the cloud that was covering the Horizon shifted allowing the sun to peek through as it began its descend.
"Don't wait just take… that one touch will make the moment yours… be it at work, in a car" His eyes twinkled with cheekiness "or surrounded by death, Take the moment and make it yours." He flashed a charm smile only 1 inch from Brennans face.
Temperance smiled and leaned forward kissing Seeley gently on the lips, her blue orbs of science look onto his rich chocolate orbs of justice as the kiss deepened their arms snaking around each other.
"Just make your moment, their not pre-made" He said muffled still kissing his best friend and only true love.
"Don't wait Take"
Everything belongs to you in a certain aspect... dont let others take a dream away from you.
