Author's Note: Damn straight, I'm back again with another lame Virtua Fighter oneshot fanfiction. Ooh, that kinda rhymed! Anyways... it is the sequel to 'Paper Flowers', my sweet Kage/Aoi oneshot. I liked it so much that it got a sequel. Yay.

Oh, and fear the slight angst. Woot.

Disclaimer: Hagakure Kagemaru, Umenokouji Aoi and Hinogami Goh belong to Sega/AM2. Not me. I own nothing but my love for Virtua Fighter, Aoi Umenokouji and random angst involving said fandoms.

Onto the fanfiction.

Shadows On The Wall

--

The stupid girl left her window open, the assassin thought with a smile. She was no fierce opponent, and she still managed to make his job that much easier. His fingers brushed against a slip of paper. He picked it up and his feral grin grew. A paper flower. Little Aoi had a secret admirer.

She woke up early to shadows playing softly on her wall. Sitting up and glancing to the window, she saw what she had hoped to see, but never thought she would... and it was different than she had expected.

The man standing on the other side of the window was not the ninja in blue, and that proved that she wasn't dreaming. His face was cadavarously pale, eyes yellow, and one scar running beneath his left eye.

'Shit. She's awake. This might get messy.'

Still, like paper flowers, her love would not wilt. She went to the window and pulled him in for a kiss.

--

The next morning, Aoi was alone in her bed again. Another paper flower was waiting on the sill. She would've assumed that Goh had left it as an apology for stealing himself away so early, if not for the neat note left on the leaf.

"Not from Hinogami."

She remembered Goh's hands; clammy... he'd kept gripping her... big and awkward. Hands that lacked the dexterity for so many folds, and a temperment that would cause him to give up and crumple the small, half-folded square after a few minutes.

She got the feeling that she'd made a very big mistake.

'No...' she thought, as she fet the warm trickle down her spine.

She had made two very big mistakes.

OMG, I might just make a third oneshot.
