A conversation, of sorts.
Never leave me,
Promise you'll stay.
I can't live without you,
I doubt I'll last a day.
Never again.
You are my laughter, life and love.
You have a beauty rare to you,
a soul good and true.
And I a sinner, pollute you.
The snake that makes you stray,
tempts you to stay
(with me)
another day.
Even though your life is at risk...
I, truly am a monster, I-
No! You're my love, my life too.
My everything, my dream come true.
You're cynical, and perhaps too protective,
but you're loving, giving-
I am a creature of darkness.
It's the only time truly safe,
in the night,
never to feel the warm sunlight.
Never to give the warmth you so need.
Never to give you life, a family.
What can you really have with me?
I can have passion and love.
The sun is over-rated,
the night under-stated.
Have you not noticed how the sun blinds?
Yet the night removes those binds,
it allows you to roam and be free,
and the moon! It acompanies you for eternity.
As surely as the sun sets, the moon rises,
shedding light, but not pain,
the sun's predjudice's slain.
If you want sunlight,
I can be your sun.
I can give you warmth,
the warmth of my body and love,
I can make you feel alive.
It's true you make my dead heart beat faster.
Maybe we were meant to be?
To break the boundary,
a truce between the night and day?
an alliance between races,
a bridge to fill spaces?
Maybe,
but enough philosophy;
time to sleep,
my love,
my angel,
my sun,
my all.
Mine. I am tired,
so I say sleepily;
"I am yours, as you are mine."
A chuckle, and then,
"I love you, my sunshine"
I mutter, as her fair eyes flutter.
Okay, that's it. What did you think? I wrote this on a whim, and posted it. I'm SUPER sorry I haven't updated Death's Daughter or Letters yet, but I do have excuses. The first being I'm really busy revising and junk, second my computer broke for a little while and the excuses go on. The latest chapter of Death's Daughter is with Marie (my Beta) and I have idea's for Rose's letter in Letters. Thank you for reading, and a bigger thank you for reviewing.
And sorry!
