Chapter 7:
The Gallade and
the Psy-stone
-"Oh! There it is! That's the Psy-stone!"- said Mimi, happily.
-"Well, let's go pick it up"- said Rihou.
-"Wait!"- said Jarexius.
-"What is it?"- asked Krystal.
-"Yeah, is something the matter, Jareh?"- asked Rihou,
-"…There's someone else here besides us…"- said Jarexius.
-"Oh really?!"- said Mimi, worried.
-"Yes!"- said a mysterious voice.
-"Waah!"- yelled Rihou,
-"Come on out and fight!"- yelled Diego.
-"Sshh, Diego!"- said Jarexius.
-"What?"- asked the clueless Emolga.
-"The last thing we need is to fight here!"- said Jarexius.
-"All right, you baby! I'll come out!"- said the mysterious voice. A Pokémon suddenly jumped out a tree and landed in front of the Team. It had the same colors as Mimi: white and green. But at least Mimi looked friendly. As for this one…nope, not friendly; -"don't get near the Psy-stone! This is my girlfriend's and I will take it back!"-
-"Girlfriend?"- asked Jarexius; -"wait, we didn't came here to steal it. We just came here because Mimi here asked us to look for one here"-
-"Mimi?"- asked the Pokémon.
-"Yes. She's right here."- said Armando.
-"Mimi…sweetie…it's you…"- said the Pokémon.
-"What?"- asked the rest of the Team.
-"Gaby? Is that you?"- asked Mimi
-"Yes, it's me…"- replied Gaby. He was a Gallade, Mimi's male counterpart.
-"Wait…you mean to tell me…that your own boyfriend stole your Psy-stone?"- asked Rihou; -"wow, what a boyfriend…"-
-"No, it wasn't me. I saw when a Pokémon took it. I followed it but then I got lost here and couldn't find my way out."- said Gaby.
-"Rihou…remember what I warned you…"- said Jarexius.
-"I'm sorry…"- said Rihou as he rolled his eyes. Like always, Jarexius noticed him but this time, she just gasps quietly. She started to notice that the Rihou she met a long time ago was starting to go away.
-"Well, now that we found you, let's get out of here. Jarexius, can we go?"- asked Mimi.
Jarexius didn't answer her. She was looking at her reflection on a nearby pond. Everyone, even Gaby, noticed that she seemed sad. When they got closer, they saw that she sniffled and dropped a tear on the pond. The water slowly made rings that deleted her reflection.
-"Hey, Jarexius…are you okay?"- asked Armando. Rihou looked at him seriously.
-"To be honest…I don't. Let's just go"- she said with a breaking voice. She turned around and walked with her head down. The Team looked at each other confused. They haven't seen her like that, not even Rihou, who also seemed surprised. They followed her to the Guild.
~…Back at the Guild…~
-"Curse you, curse you!"- yelled Victoria as she walked from side to side; -"I will not allow anyone to get in my way, Gerald…not even you!"- she went to her bed and took out a crowbar from underneath the bed.
