It was 6:30pm on a rainy day and Cinderblock had escaped. Again. Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg went to take care of it and left Beast Boy to care for Raven. She had had a horrible migraine that had been there since three nights ago and only seemed to dull when she was around Beast Boy. Nobody knew why and nobody asked any questions. They all did notice though, that Raven hadn't slept in her own bed in three nights.

"Beast Boy", Raven said.

"Rae I don't know how many times I have to tell you to please, just call me Gar", Garfield sighed. Raven rolled her eyes and replied with,

"Could you please make me a cup of tea". Raven could not stand having to be around him all the time. It was mentally exhausting. The worst part was she couldn't sleep unless she was close to him so, she had to sleep in his top bunk. *Thank God*, Raven thought, *for those bunk beds. I never thought him being such a child would come in handy*.

*Wow*, Beast Boy thought, *she didn't yell at me for calling her Rae. Maybe I'm growing on her*.

"Oh, and also, my name is RAVEN, two syllables".

*Dammit*, Beast Boy thought, *it's like she can read minds* "Sorry Raven", he walked over to her starting to hand her something, "here I already had some tea started I figured you would want some soon" he told her sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. She grabbed the steaming hot cup of tea out of his hands and looked up at him in awe.

*Does he really care about me that much?* she thought to herself. A light bulb shattered in the hallway but if Beast Boy noticed he said nothing. "Thanks", she whispered back.

4 AND A HALF HOURS OF READING A BOOK AND CHANNEL SURFING LATER...

Star, Robin, and Cyborg all got back about an hour ago. Raven was laying in Beast Boy's top bunk *At least he cleaned up his room for me*, she thought and smiled a little to herself. "BEAST BOY STAY STILL", she yelled down at her bunkmate.

"Sorry, I'm just such a restless sleeper", Beast Boy apologetically replied. Raven layed there for two hours thinking *come on I have got to fall asleep sometime soon*. After another thirty minutes she new what had to happen. Raven quietly and slowly climbed down the ladder and started to lightly shake Beast Boy,

"Wake up" she whisper yelled.

"hmmmmm?", Beast Boy replied.

"It's getting worse, it just keeps getting worse", she said almost in tears. Beast Boy didn't say anything he just scooted over and patted the bed without opening his eyes. She laid down next to him cautiously, and froze when his half asleep self dangled his arm over her side. Her Migraine was completely gone. She was so tired she didn't even have the energy to yell at him to scoot over. "mmm goodnight Rae", Beast Boy mumbled and fell back asleep. Not long after, so did she.

THE NEXT MORNING...

Beast Boy woke up to Raven's leg over over his groin and her arm over his chest with her head on his shoulder while his arm was wrapped around her. *Oh my God*, Beast Boy thought, *it wasn't a dream... Wait, than means that her head got even worse. I hope she's okay*. "Hey Rae, wake up" Beast Boy said gently while lightly shaking her.

"hmmmmm?", Raven questioned.

"Are you okay? I remember you told me your head got worse last night" he said concerningly. Raven's eyes suddenly shot wide open,

"Um yeah I'm great best night of sleep I've ever got and my migraine is completely gone would do it again... wait no that not what I mean. Thanks, Gar." Raven finished stumbling over her words and left waving an awkward goodbye to an extremely confused Garfield.

*Hey*, Beast Boy thought to himself with a stupid grin on his face, *she called me Gar*
