A/N: This little oneshot is based off of the song "What Is This Feeling: Loathing" from "Wicked". Read and review? Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own The Mortal instruments or any of the characters.
Loathing
Loathing
Unadulterated loathing
For your face
Your voice
Your clothing
Let's just say I loath it all
Every little trait however small
Makes my very flesh begin to crawl
With loathing
He hated the way his hair shone in the moonlight. He hated the way his eyes were sickeningly seductive towards his best friend. He hated the uncouth matter in which he undressed her with his eyes. He hated the way that he was able to make her melt with his words. He loathed his face and all of the sensuous emotions it disguised as sarcasm.
He hated the way his hair was always messy. He hated the way his eyes seemed to follow her everywhere she went. He hated the subtle touches and caresses he issued his tiny angel when he though that no one was watching. He hated the way his geeky face made her swoon. He loathed his shy attitude towards her and the way he held himself.
He hated that he wore nothing but black. He hated that he was so skilled with weapons- he would be able to keep her safe. He hated that he carried himself with an air of positivity. He hated that he could hide his longing. He loathed his royal demeanor and all that he stood for.
He hated that he could never understand his stupid t-shirts. He hated that she was so comfortable with him- he could easily sweep her away and she wouldn't complain. He hated that his walk was unconsciously cocky. He hated that he was able to be free with his lusty glances and secretive smile. He loathed his calm façade and everything he stood for.
Simon hated his ability to get anything he wanted. For after a few days of knowing him, he could tell that he wanted her- and sure enough, he would have her. Simon loathed Jace for his ability to covet Clary.
Jace hated his ability to make her decisions sway towards his decisions. After knowing him for a few days, he could tell that he had almost total control over her, leaving him no chance at winning the race for her affections. Jace loathed Simon for his ability to steal Clary.
In the end of all great tales, the hero could always be decided by who ended up with the girl. In Jace and Simon's case- well, they would just have to fight to the death to save the fair maiden.
