Trouble

Kaoru walked onto the school campus and looked around. She hadn't been to school for a week because she had been sick. Well not really. She had been trying to stay away from Butch. He had asked her out on the last day she was there, but Kaoru had made an ass of herself. She yelled at him, asking what nerve he had to ask her now regretted it. She wanted to apologize for the way she had acted, but chickened out when she went up to Butch to tell him. Momoko and Miyako had tried to call her cell, but Kaoru had rejected their calls.
Now she was worried that Butch, Momoko, and Miyako would all be mad at her. After all, she really had been a horrible friend these last couple of weeks. First, last month, she had told Momoko that Brick had told her to fuck off, when it never really happened. Momoko had gotten mad and yelled at Brick. Now they didn't talk…at , three weeks ago, she had put a weeks worth of sweaty gym socks in Boomer's locker as a prank. Boomer had gotten upset, and Boomer and Miyako didn't talk to her for two weeks. She had apologized to Miyako later though.
Kaoru had wanted to apologize to Brick and Momoko for playing that horrible prank on them, but neither Brick or Momoko had accepted it. She felt very bad and she was going to try to clear all the mess she made up today. She walked through the school doors, feeling history teacher, Mr. Mikokawa, greeted her. "Oh, Ms. Matsubara! Welcome back! Are you feeling better?" he asked. "Yes. Thanks Mr. Mikokawa." Kaoru replied. "I will she you fifth period then. Have a good day Ms. Matsubara!" he said. "Okay," Kaoru said.
She made her way to her locker. She turned the corner and….SMACK! She ran into someone. "Hey, you jackass! Watch where you're going!" she scolded. "Sorry….." the person said. Kaoru looked at the face of the person. It was Butch."B-Butch…" Kaoru said. "M-Matsubara.." he said. He was blushing. So was Kaoru. "I'm sorry. I should watch where I'm going," Butch apologized. "No, I'm the one who should watch where their going," Kaoru replied. She was sweating. "Matsubara?" Butch asked.
"Yeah, Butch? What is it?" she asked. "Momoko and Miyako accept your apologizes to them. So do my brothers," Butch explained. Kaoru was relieved. She hadn't ruined her relationship with her friends, and she was going to do anything to keep that relationship strong with them.
"Well, thanks Butch. I'll see you later then," Kaoru said. She stared to her locker, but half way there Butch came behind her, grabbed her shoulder and turned her around. He was blushing again. "M-Matsubara. I-I-I…." he was also blushing. "Butch.." she said. "I love you, Kaoru Matsubara!" Butch said, looking into her eyes. Kaoru started blushing, like crazy, again. "I-I-I love you, too, Butch," she said. Butch looked into her eyes again and asked, "How about a movie after school today?"
"Is it an action movie? I want to see some fighting!" Kaoru said. Butch chuckled. "It's whatever you want it to be, sweetie," he replied. "Alright," Kaoru said. "After school." She was looking Butch in the took her face in his hand. He leaned in, and their lips met. Kaoru was shocked. She enjoyed the moment. When they broke, Butch led Kaoru to her locker. Then they walked hand in hand into their first period class.
Kaoru was glad that her friends weren't mad at her, and she was even more glad that Butch told her he loved her. Now that they were together, Kaoru had one more reason not to hate her life. She finally had the perfect life. She wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world. She would do anything to keep everything the way it was. Anything she was capable of, that is.
