A/N It's been a while since I last posted anything on here, but it's good to be back! This takes place during Orochimaru's fight with a four-tailed Naruto in Shippuden, except this time, he doesn't stop at just four tails.

Crackling flames emanating from torn flesh
Deep red mixes with burning orange
Fueling the hunger for lost control
Mocking whispers slither to ears
With no reason left to listen
As darkness engulfs all that was
Demonic swirls smother light from within
Echoes of distant thoughts die away
In the roaring embers that live
Passion disintegrates in burning flames
Four sparks pierce through remnants of humanity;
The form is not as it once was
Rage intensifies without meaning
As poison seeps to weeping trees;
Blossoms delicately burn to dust
Fans for controlling fury disappeared long ago
Wind intensifies desires kept within
Power overtakes feelings of lost trust
Hope explodes with a single spark
Eternally lost as numbers grow
Wood only increases what could not be contained
Blank stares glazed with milky white
Cracked glasses cry tears of blood
Wind dies while consumed in flames
Distant memories through azure eyes burn out
Darkness engulfs all that is, was, and will be
