A.N.:I will say this one time only so read this well.I DO NOT OWN NARUTO!So now that the disclaimer has been stated this story takes place during the 1800 and the settings will change along with time so let us begin another venture into my mind in a world I made for SasuSaku based on a single picture I saw, here we go.
I look at the sky illuminated by the full moon's glow beyond the clouds that litter the otherwise perfect night sky as I listen to the sounds of laughter, chatter, and music.
The lively village that was guarded by a large wall was a special village, since most of its inhabitants were Huntsmen.
A rare type of huntsman indeed, because they didn't hunt bandits, thieves, murderers, or common animal game, Oh no, they hunted Werewolves, Hollow Men, Banshees, Sirens and many others but, what they seemed to be best at hunting were my kind, Vampires.
They were so good in fact, that they found my coven and commenced the Genocide of my whole bloodline. I lost for the second time in my life a few of my Uncles, Cousins, Aunts, and the only person not born into this life by being changed, but was born into it like a human child, they killed my little sister, Haruka.
She was only 8 years old mind, body and soul, yet they killed her for being one of us. So I came here with others who had lost people dear to them to this clan of Huntsmen. Karin Uzumaki, who was changed by Mangetsu Hozuki into one of us, lost her lover to them and Suigetsu Hozuki, Mangetsu's brother, lost his brother to them and lastly, Jugo who lost everyone to this clan as they managed to kill all, but him.
I cast my gaze down into the village full of life and watch them dance around pretending to be innocent. LIARS! I was so angry that I spent months plotting this and when no one would help me, not even my parents, I came across these 3 by chance. They will help me kill them all for what they've done to our loved ones as well.
I whistle and bring their attention to me and not the bodies they fed upon as I nod toward the wall's edge as I face the village.
"Tonight we get our revenge." They join me as I look at all the faces smiling, mocking us.
"Let's show them the same kindness they showed us when they came to visit." Karin smiles and begins to chant. "Oh power of the heaven and those of earth, I call upon you and ask you lend me your strength."
We watched as she lit up, spiral like swirl designs decorating her body before she opens her eyes and kneels upon the wall. "Those who share this tainted blood," she pours a vial of blood from the guards below upon the wall. "Cannot escape through your mighty gates." she stands. "You will become a trap those you were built to protect." the outer walls light up for a moment then faded away. "Now it's like shooting fish in a barrel."
I step forward and walk to the center where a large house sat and a majority of the clan was gathered. "Let the show," I raised my hand. "Begin."
Snapping my fingers all the lights blew out from the bonfire to the last candle leaving them in the unsuspecting darkness as we descend upon them, enacting our revenge as we hunt them down and slaughter, maim, strangle, crush, impale, and bleed them dry.
Every man, woman, and child we came across didn't stand a chance even when some of the huntsmen strike back we couldn't wait to watch the life leave their green and blue eyes of every shade, pale and dull, truly lifeless.
We came up on the very two who struck down my sister without a second thought, the hunters that went by The Golden and Crimson Blades. I halt our advances as I take in their faces as they held no traces of fear, except in their eyes that betray them with a glint of worry.
"Someone you're looking for?" I asked them and they glare at me.
"What coven do you hail from Vampires'?" asks the blonde female hunter, her green eyes glaring daggers into us.
"Now that's a good question." I said as I circled them slowly watching their every move, expression, and posture. "Your village has taken many lives, whole bloodlines." I say as I pass Jugo. "A brother." I add as I stand between Suigetsu and Karin "A Lover." before strolling back to my spot leaving no openings for them to use.
"People we all loved and cherished above everything and you two in particular stole from me the life of my most cherished person." I grab the hilt of my sword at my waist and snarl, baring my fangs.
"This is for Haruka." I attack them and we begin a battle against the two strongest Huntsmen. I lift the Crimson Blade off his feet and he flies away from us a few feet before I begin to fight the Golden Blade.
She put up quite a fight, yet not good enough as I brought my own blade down and caught her leg sending her to her knees before kicking her. She rolls away as The Crimson Blade attacks again I sent him to the floor as he convulse from the lightning running through him.
It was one of my many special abilities and I watch them struggle to get up with a laugh, menacing to the core, I draw my blade back to deliver the final strike and win this cruel game when a small voice echoed through the night.
"NO, STOP PLEASE!" I jump as small arms hold onto me and swing down, throwing the child off me. She slide a few feet away before standing again and limping toward us. "Don't hurt them!" she pleas. "Please don't..." The sight of this child brought images of my sister to mind as she stood in her kimono and long hair tousled about. I glare and lift her up off her feet by her throat, it was so small beneath my hand as I held her up in the air.
"How old are you, child?" She places her small, frail looking hands upon my own as remained fastened loose enough to avoid snapping her windpipe in two and tears pour from her bright green eyes
"8. Please. Don't. Hurt. Them." She strangles out each word as she looks me in the eyes, not something many would ever dare to do.
"You Beast! Unhand our daughter!" I feel a small sting after a dagger misses my head and I look at the pink haired child pleading me to spare the lives of her parents. Instead of killing them all right there I feel my eyes shift, filling with energy, her eyes widen before she goes limp in my arms. I cradle her in one arm and turn toward her parents.
"It seems plans have changed, but you will suffer as we have. She," I gesture to their child. "Is coming with me. So, if I let her live or die you will spend the rest of your miserable lives uncertain of what I have done." They try to stand, but both fall down weak from fighting the four of us.
"We will find her and when we do, we will kill you." I turn and whistle at the others.
"We're leaving." They do not question me and follow me as I disappear. The Golden and Crimson Blade yelled out the name of their child, echoing in the silence around the village.
"Sakura!"
Karin disbands the seal, I teleport to one of my homes, and lay her down up a bed. Taking a seat in my chair I silently observe the way her eye lids flutter, the rise and fall of her chest, the way her pink brows crease once in awhile and listen to the soft pitter patter of her tiny heart.
A knock upon my door was met with a silence before the door opens signing they were coming in.
"What are you going to do with the little Huntsman?" Suigetsu asks as he casts a glance now and then at the sleeping child like the other two did, so I shrug.
"I don't know maybe take her overseas to one of the countries over there and let her parents scour every inch of Japanese soil in search of her and when they realize she isn't in the homelands anymore they can feel the true feeling of helplessness and pain." We all look at her.
"What happens when she gets older?" I look at my desk with a sigh.
"I'll figure that out when the time comes, besides we all know to us it will feel like tomorrow when that day comes." I run my hand through my hair and look to them. "If you want to come with us I offer you this chance only once. Be here tomorrow at dawn, I will be waiting, but not a moment later."
I wave them off and look back at the frail child before me and find myself walking over to her, gently lifting up a lock of pink hair, letting it slip between my fingers.
"Sakura, huh?" I pull down my hood. "I'll be your new guardian from now on." I turn and leave her there irritated...What am I thinking? "hn."
Two days later Sakura's POV
I've been in this house with the Vampires for two days in this foreign land with a strange language that they're trying to teach me and an odd dressing custom. Ms. Karin is always dressing me up, but it makes my surprise attacks harder when I try to knock out the one who calls himself Sasuke, but to no avail I always fail.
I wonder if my parents are alive or if they killed them . . . I hope it isn't the latter because that will break my heart. How long until I am saved from these beasts? They may look like us and talk like us, but aren't one of us.
I await my parents to find me or maybe a prince charming will find me instead.
What am I going to do till I'm free? I'll do my best to survive.
I will see my parents again.
