Casino Blues
…oOo…
George Weasley and Angelina Johnson where heading to a muggle casino. It seems pretty simple when you put it like that. But it wasn't.
You see, George was trying to get over something that no twin should have to get over. He was trying to get over the death of Fred.
It had been almost a month since the battle. Summer was fast approaching, but George didn't think much of the good weather that was to come. He hated it when anyone tried to tell him that it was okay, because it wasn't. But with Angelina it was different, she never forced him to say anything on it, she just waited until he was ready to talk about it. George was definitely falling for this girl.
When they arrived at the muggle casino they were astonished to find that everything, EVERYHTHING was lit up in bright, neon colours.
"Oh gosh, my eyes!" George fake-complained.
Angelina laughed, and George smiled. He loved her smile.
Suddenly, Angelina spotted something that made her squeal in delight, "Ice cream! Give me! Give me!"
"Do you want some?" George asked.
"Ooh, yes please! Can I have strawberry?"
"Of course, my lady." George bowed as he made his way over to the ice cream stand.

Once George and Angelina had finally made it into casino, they realized that not all muggle things are boring. They had so much fun at the casino, but they felt like they were missing something, they needed another friend.
After finishing a completely "out of whack" (as George said it) game from the 80's, they went over to one of the newer games, and as luck would have it, they found Alicia Spinnet, one of Angelina's Quidditch friends.
"Alicia!" Angelina called happily.
The girl turned around, she had brown-blonde hair that was worn down, falling to her shoulders. Her blue eyes seemed to sparkle in the bright atmosphere and her light, slightly freckled skin was so pale that it looked like it hadn't seen the sun in days. "Hiya Angie!" She called.
"Come party with us!" George yelled over the noise, he was happy to see one of his Quidditch friends.
…oOo…
That night, the three friends played games, ate good food, told jokes and laughed way too much. It was the best thing George had done since his brothers passing. And George felt great.
"We should vow to be friends forever." Alicia suggested.
"Till death do us part." George vowed, and they all laughed.
"That can kill you, you know that, right?" Angelina said, gesturing to George, who had stated to try mess up one of the arcade games' inner circuits.
George jumped back in fright, however his face was priceless. The girls couldn't help it, they burst out laughing, and, unable to control it, George did too.
…oOo…
George had finally realized it that night. Fred wouldn't have wanted him to be sad, he would only have wanted him to be happy. And that's exactly what George was.
