(NOTE: I know the song wasn't around back then. But for the sake of this story. Just pretend it is. )

It has been a couple months since the beach incident that had caused for the Erik and Charles to break up. it wasn't his fault, Erik hadn't meant to paralyze Charles, he had been aiming at that god awful CIA agent who was obviously trying to get with his boyfriend. He had tried telegrams, letters, even a stripper gram but so far nothing was working. Finally Erik came up with an idea that he thought was full proof. He would serenade Erik back and win him over. He went to Xavier's mansion in New York where he was currently staying and made his was way to underneath Charle's window. He took the rock and flung it in at his window.

"Charles!" Erik shouted and he threw another rock. "Charles!" come to the window!" He threw another rock at the window. Still there was no answer. He grabbed the metal alloy pebble in his pocket and with his powers soared it through the window. Unfortunately, he used a little too much force and the window shattered completely. However, it did cause for Charles to roll over as quickly as possible in his wheel chair.

"The hell Erik are you doing" he exclaimed.

"I have come to win you back Charles! Please! just give me a chance!" Erik shouted up to him.

"Why should I?" Charles questioned.

"Because I wish to serenade you. I'm sorry for what happened at the beach. I really am. Just give me a chance! Please?" Erik pleaded.

Charles sighed. "Fine. You have one chance. But it better be good."

Erik nodded taking out his guitar and began and tunes it. He then began to strum the guitar as he began to sing to some lyrics he had printed out. "When your legs don't work like they used to before.. and I can't sweep you off of you feet.."

Charles held up his hand motioning him to stop. "Ok. Just. wow. Wow Erik. Screw you. Like seriously. you I don't want to ever see you again." Just to prove his point Charles grabbed one of the stone Erik threw up at his window and threw it back down at him hitting Erik in the head before turning away and rolling off in his wheelchair.

And thus Ladies and Gentlemen, Erik learned the importance of why you should really look over a song before you sing it.
