Hi everyone! I thought I should try writing another Bessa fanfic! This time multi chapter! This takes place during the scene of The Wicked Witch of the East. The beginning is the same, but it changes. Well hope you like it :)
Nessa's POV
I was scared and confused. Elphaba was chanting a spell out of that horrid Grimmerie. Why would she do this? I had no idea what would happen, but it was horrifying to think about it.
"My shoes... They feel like they're on fire! What have you done to my shoes?" I half yelled.
Elphaba continued to chant. I started to feel, I don't know, different? My shoes didn't feel like they were burning anymore. I felt taller or something. I looked down at my legs. They were no longer the tangled twisted mess they were. Had Elphaba really un crippled me? I tried getting out of the chair that I have been depending on my whole life. I rose to my feet, I was standing! I could walk1 I sat back down.
"Oh Nessa at last... I've done what long ago I should... And finally from these powers something good!"
"Boq, Boq! Come here at once!" I exclaimed happily.
Boq entered the room.
"Oh Boq, its a miracle!" I stood up again. "I can walk, and its all thanks to Elphaba!
Boq looked at Elphaba, "You did this for her?"
"For both of us," I said.
"Oh Nessa, this changes everything."
"I know."
"Nessa?"
"Yes?"
"Uh Nessa, I've got something to say to you, I confess my love for you this night. Oh how beautiful you are, you are the one I fell for!"
I blushed seven shades of e shades of red. It was a little corny, but very sweet. I ran to him and hugged him. I never thought I'd be able to embrace him like this.
"I should be leaving, I have unfinished buisness in the Emerald City," Elphaba said.
"Thank you Elphaba," I said giving her a quick hug. Then she left.
I looked into Boq's brown eyes and he looked straight back into mine.
He gently held me in his arms. Before I could blink, our lips met and caressed each other with great bliss and harmony.
Boq and I... We deserved eachother...
