Loco sat on top of the snowy hill above their house, her purple and gold dress fluttering in the chilling wind. She heard the soft crunching of snow behind her, not glancing at the person who sat down next to her. The man sighed, Loco seeing him shake his head out of the corner of her now-golden eye. "Why did you do it? You knew what would happen, Loco." The man said, sounding saddened. The girl sighed, turning towards her father "You know why." She said softly. Her father scowled, his white eyes flaring a bit brighter for a second "To save some boy! I have half a mind to smite him, but I won't. Only because I know how much you sacrificed for him." At this the girl glared at him "I gave my life for my friends, and I'd do it again. I'd do it all again, just to see them happy" she practically growled out her words, meaning each and every one of them. Suddenly, Loco sighed, losing all her anger. "I just wish they knew the truth"

~*~ FLASHBACK OF FLASHBACKNESS ~*~

Loco snuck up behind Read, an evil grin on her face as she held a few snowball in her hand. He was currently talking to Birdie, who was in on the joke and trying not to laugh. "Birdie, why are you smiling? Is there something on my fa- ACK!" his question was cut shot as Loco threw a snowball into the back of his head. Stumbling, Read turned around. "Oh, you're asking for it Lo- WHY" His sentence was yet again cut short as Loco threw another snowball to his face and hid behind her snow-fort giggling. What she didn't expect was for Read to teleport behind her and dump an armful of snow unto her. "EEP! COLD, RISH, COLD! NO FAIR!" she shrieked, laughing as she threw (and missed) another snowball at Read. He just laughed along with birdie. "All is fair in Love and war, sis" Birdie giggled out. Sighing, Loco pouted, even though everyone could see she was trying not to laugh. Birdie glanced up at the sinking sun and sighed "It's getting late. We should head in." Loco said, also looking at the sinking sun. They bid farewell to Read and headed down the snowy hill and into their home. Shaking his head with a small smile, Read walked down the other side of the hill and sat on the edge of a hole Loco had made, thinking to himself. Just as he was getting up to head home, someone pushed over the edge of the hole. He cried out, but he knew it was useless. Even if he teleported, the fall would still kill him. The bottom came close and closer before – nothing. He was surrounded by a bright golden light, causing him to cry out. What was happening? Is he dead? He had to be… The light disappeared, and Read was left at the bottom of the hole panting heavily and stunned by what had happened. The golden light… He knew Loco's magic had gold in it… maybe he'd go ask her. As he was getting up he heard a pained scream echo across valley.

Loco…
