A/N: I just wanted a little light fluff to entertain myself after the Brittana wedding. Enjoy!

You were just staring at the blonde beauty at the far end of the diner, admiring her. From how she leaned forward on the counter, placing her order and that oddly cute frown she has on her face as she decides on what to buy. A grin plastered on your face from the moment she reached that counter. Her beauty and how she carried it made it hard for you to look away. She tucked the strand of hair behind her ear, revealing the beautiful face of hers. It was almost impossible not to fall in love in that instant.
It was the little blonde boy running up to her that melted your heart a little. His small figure next to her, tiptoeing to peek at the menu on that counter. How the mother just caressed his head and lowered herself a little so that she wouldn't just tower over him and giving him her utmost attention.
"Mommy, can I have that Superman toy?" begged the little guy as he pointed over at the figurine displayed next to the happy meal set.
She ran her fingers through his hair and gave in to his request before looking up at you briefly and flashing a kind smile. You quickly looked down at the phone in your hand, pretending to be occupied. Your heart beat faster and faster the more you replayed that split second gaze.
Your smile has yet to be wiped off your face when the little blonde cutie came running to you.
"Momma, momma!" he screamed with glee as he waved around the toy in his hand. "I got Superman!"
"That's awesome, honey!" you cheered, clapping your hands together before stroking the back of his head.
Before you even got a chance to ask him if you could see his toy, he had ran back to your wife.
"Kids, so full of energy," you shook your head, smiling.
It didn't take long before the two loves of your life came back to their seats. Brittany placed the tray down on the table in front of you before planting a soft kiss on your lips and sitting down across from you. Her smile and blue eyes warmed your heart and her soft rubs of her thumbs on your hand made every nerve tingle. The enthusiastic sounds from your son, Caleb, snapped you back into reality.
"It's crazy how fast kids grow," Brittany sighed in contentment, looking at your son.
"And soon enough, this bun will be out of the oven," you grinned, rubbing your belly before looking up at your wife.
Brittany giggled at your statement before softening her gaze and looking deep into yours. "How did I end up so lucky?"
"Stop," you looked down as your smile widened.
"No, I mean it," she squeezed your hand. "eight years and one child... well, two, and I still love you like how I loved you back in senior year, if not more."
"I love you too, Brittany," you replied.
"Mommy, can I have some fries?" interrupted your 3-year-old.
Both of you laughed and looked at Caleb.
"Sure honey," said your wife as she handed over a couple of fries to him.
