Ride for Two

"Just put your arms around me."

"I'm sorry, I'm confused?"

Tadashi gave the blonde girl a playful grin as he handed her his extra helmet.

"If you're afraid that you're going to fall then just hold on to me."

Elsa looked that helmet in her hands and back at tall man before her. She held it in one hand and knocked on the cover with her other making a quiet tok tok. Trusting this complete stranger with her life would be the worst decision she's ever made. But she needs to get to her sister's recital before it finishes.

"I-I…"

"Don't worry. I'm a good driver. Besides, I know how you feel."

She held the helmet in her arms securely and tilted her head slightly indicating her curiosity.

Tadashi scratched the back of his neck as he avoided direct eye contact with the beautiful girl in front of him.

"I have brother. A younger one actually. He's fourteen. If I missed his presentation for SFIT presentation next week I'll never be able to forgive myself."

Elsa blinked slowly and put the helmet on. Tadashi smiled and offered her his hand.

"Come on. I wouldn't want you to miss out on your sister's performance."

"Thank you but I wouldn't want to impose."

"Nonsense."

Elsa felt uneasy. She wasn't the type to trust strangers let alone ride with one but she's left with no choice. Anna's recital is a good few miles from where her car broke down. She was lucky enough that the guy standing in front of her just passed by on his way to this school at night.

"Thank you." Elsa bit her lip as she got on his ride.

"Just put your arms around me and you'll be fine. Just trust me."

Tadashi started his bike and felt Elsa's hands on his shoulders.

"That's not going to work." He said as he took her hands and wrapped them around his waist blushing at their closeness.

Tadashi wasn't the only one glowing. Elsa was especially thankful that she was behind him otherwise she would feel like melting. "Elsa."

"Hmmm?"

"My name is Elsa. It's the least I could tell you for helping me."

Tadashi smiled.

"Tadashi. My name is Tadashi."
