Chapter Eleven
He sat there, admiring the view of his own creation. Destruction, that's what he lived for. He enjoyed watching others gravel at his feet for mercy. He was treacherous, a demon many of his victims say, but their slanderous words only made him more inclined to kill. It was what made his adrenaline run high and his blood churn. That's why he felt pity for those who did not know him. Thinking that he was the usual crazed being searching for world domination. Those statements were all wrong, for what creature could destroy a planet with a single tap of his finger. Certainly not one to be reckoned with.
He licked his metallic lips, his silverfish skin glistening in the fiery rumble that was left of Pern. "Pathetic fools!" He snickered and pushed himself against his lounge chair. "Thought that retaliation would save you from your own grave! You were already dead to me before I even had you on the market." Angrily he thrusted his glass of wine at the replay screen. "Ahhrr! There all worthless, every single one." He reclined back his chair and closed his eyes, he could imagine the agonizing cries and the frightened faces. He smirked, nothing could stop him.
Ohlong hands shook, sweat perspired down his face. He had to get a good call for this mission otherwise it was all over for him. With a shaky hand he swiftly typed some codes in then placed his hand on the scanner pad. The doors immediately flew open. The room was dim and smiled of blood. Ohlong wiped his sweaty hands on his pants nervously, and then slowly entered the room.
He already knew who it was. The person who visited his office on a daily bases for god knows what! He didn't care to turn around and face him, but just waited for another idiotic response, Ohlong had always amused him.
"Um excuse me sir I know this might be a bad time but… well… you see, um…" "Just spit it out Ohlong! I don't live for your stupidity!" "Yes sir, um we managed to find another planet in way of our conquest, it's called Earth sir." "Hmph, I don't care much for its background Ohlong I just hope this one posse a little bit of a challenge than the first. I'm getting tired of these useless planets with poor military skills; I want to see my army can really do! The first three planets where just play toys to them!" "Yes sir I'll look up on that." "Yeah sure Ohlong just do it in your own office!" Ohlong sighed in relief he had made it out in one piece.
