"Smee!" Silence. "SMEE!"

The heavy oak wood door swung open with an announcing creek. "Yes Cap'n? Oh Cap'n! It's good to see you-"

"I've got it Smee!" Captain Hook stabbed his metal hook into the beaten table top that held his maps, puncturing the papers. The captain was a tall, thin man with fairly long black hair. He was someone people often feared. Known for his ruthlessness and his vengeance. Once Captain Hook decided he was going to get revenge, it would be taken. Even if it was the last think he did.

Smee set down his shaving material -well not his, it was the captain's- and pulled on his blue and white striped shirt. He was a short man with round glasses and a round stomach that seemed to hit things ahead of him before he did. "Got what Cap'n?" he asked in bewilderment.

Hook stared hard at his maps, twisting his mustache between two fingers thoughtfully. "The King, Smee."

"T-the K-king Cap'n?" Smee rung his red tuque in his hands nervously. "You mean to say the Horned King?" he asked.

Grinning, Hook nodded, looking at his first mate with sly black eyes.

"B-but Cap'n!" returning his tuque to his partly bald head, Smee pinched his lips together. "The Horned King is mean! He is very dark and messy!" Chuckling, Smee pointed his finger at Hook. "Not the sort of man for us respectable pirates to associate with, don't you agree Cap'n?"

Hook frowned and slapped his face. Smee was a good first mate because he was loyal.

Extremely loyal.

And that was what Hook needed. Someone who would obey his every order without question. Essentially, someone who was stupid enough to crawl into a snake pit for him. And Smee was not only loyal enough, he was dumb enough.

Exactly what Hook needed.

But sometimes he was a little too stupid.

"No! We're not going to get the King! You blithering idiot!" Hook slashed his hook in the air. "We're going to get Pan!"

"Peter Pan? But Cap'n, you just said-"

"Never mind what I just said!" Pacing, Hook looked at Smee. "It's Pan I want. I'm going to get that wretched little brat if I have to burn down this island! The humiliation he has inflicted on me! It is high time I get my share!"

Smee nodded in thought. "But Cap'n... what does that have to do with the Horned King?"

Hook waited while Smee moved his chair over to him; then, once sitting, he leaned forward. "The King can find Wendy."

"Wendy, Cap'n?"

"Yes Smee." Hook rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "With Wendy, I can lour Peter Pan to his doom!"

Smee smiled, finally understanding. "Oh! Oh Cap'n! That's very good! Very good Cap'n."

Hook waved it off, sitting back. "Of course it is. It's brilliant."

Helping Hook take his coat off, Smee put it aside and grabbed a sheet, spreading it over the captain as he sat back down.

"But Cap'n?" Smee took out the small blade, preparing it to start shaving. He cleaned it and looked at Hook questioningly. "What about all the new intruders? Those strange people?"

Hook glowered. "We'll have to do something about them. But first, Pan."

Smee nodded. "Undoubtedly, Cap'n."

Hello! I'm super excited because I'm finally putting this story up! It's been on my mind for months, and I miss writing Fanfics.

Anyway, this one's a little different then my former stories (and for those of you who are confused right now, I was formally HeartOfGold7! So don't let yourself get a headache wondering why you're getting an alert for an author you don't remember XD) but I wanted to give it a shot!

So yeah, enjoy :)
