"Hunny, I have some energy." said Jamie "do you want to go for a walk?"
"Are you sure?" asked Landon
"We havn't been for a walk in a long time. Since I have some energy we
might as well" said Jamie
Hand in hand they went to the dock they had kissed at only months
before they got married. There they had been on a date and had their first
real kiss. She was sick with Lukemia and was going to die. Landon knew
her time would come soon and he wanted to take her for a walk here so she
could take one last look. No one knew when her time would come, but Landon
tried to stop thinking about it.

"Isn't this place beautiful?" asked Jamie looking out to the sea. "Yes it is" Landon responded, the words How can you see places like this... running through his mind. He tried not to think about it. The words sounded as fresh as the day she had said them. "Jamie?" asked Landon "are you afraid?" He knew the answer to this question, for she had told him before. "I am but I know that my death is inevitable, so I try not to think about it." answered Jamie "Jamie, I just wanted you to know that I love you with all my heart and I will never leave you." "I know that. I am glad you are here to help me through all of this. I am getting tired. Why don't we go home." "Okay" said Landon ~~~~~~~~~~~ The next day Jamie died. Landon was glad they had taken the walk and knew she was at a better place. He was sad she was gone but happy she has no more pain. He was happy they took one last walk!
