Jake leaped down from the tree and ran along the beach, paying no head to the steady fall of the rain; and until he dived into the forest A Hallow watched him. Jake had meant to leave the hollow in confusion, as an assertion of his cleverness, but it came sooner than Jake had expected. "Hunt down, Dbouk." He turned his hip and swung fully at the hollow with flames coming off the hem of his Zanpaktou. The hollow fell back but soon flew forward at great speeds. Numberless and inexpressible frustrations combined to make Jake's rage elemental and awe-inspiring. "I hate you!" He jumped and held his blade back as he fell back to the earth to insure a large impact. He swung his Zanpaktou forward at the Hollow's head and cut through his body. Images of the pain this particular hollow had caused him ate away his thoughts. He looked down at his Zanpaktou with sad eyes and turned away to walk back to the cemetery he had visited every day since the day of his lovers death.
