BLACKGATE PRISON

"Keeping an eye on me, Batman?"

The man never turned to look at the Dark Knight.

"Always. You know why."

The man smiled, unnerving his cell-block mates.

"I'm going straight after getting out, Caped Crusader. Think I'll go back to accounting. After all, I almost crunched your number. Maybe the IRS is a worthier opponent."

The prisoners shook. Even the Clown avoided the IRS. Batman vanished. The man shrugged.

"It's all right, boys. He knows what would happen, if he took his beady eyes off Sid The Squid."

Eyes that a little man keeping up appearances was very grateful for.
