I wonder why Uncle Reborn called me here, Yoru thought as she walked in the halls of her new school, Namimori Middle School. Is it about mother's ring? Is it about those dangerous people? Whatever it is, it must be serious... Lost in her own thoughts, Yoru suddenly collided with someone as she turned at a corner, creating a satisfying thud.
"Oh, sorry." She looked up at who she had bumped into.
"Hn, watch where you're going, herbivore... Or next time, I'll bite you to death." A guy of at least five-foot-six glared at her with menacing eyes before walking away.
Yoru scowled at his attitude and noticed an arm band wrapped around the sleeve of his jacket. The leader of the disciplinary committee? So THAT'S Hibari Kyoya? Wow, he's such a jerk... But Uncle Reborn is right; he has a strong aura. She gave him one last glance before she continued to walk to her new class.
"Hey, Tsuna! Did you hear about the new transfer student?" Yamamoto greeted him with his usual grin.
Tsuna, who was in a daze, simply stared out the window, recalling what had happened yesterday.
"NANI!? There's actually eight ring holders in the Vongola? Reborn, why didn't you tell me this earlier!?"
"The 8th ring holder was supposed to be a secret. However, she is currently being persecuted by a certain mafia family, and she needs our protection. Also, we need her power to defeat this rivaling family."
"W-what family? Who is this 8th guardian? Please, tell me!"
"You will hear more about it tomorrow."
"Tsuna... Tsuna. Tsuna!" Tsuna realized that Yamamoto was calling to him.
"H-huh?"
"Are you alright, Tsuna?" Yamamoto gave him a concerned look. Gokudera, on the other hand, slammed his fist against the table in frustration.
"Juudaime, you've been like this since yesterday! What did Reborn tell you?"
"O-oh, it's nothing. N-nothing much." Tsuna stammered and forced a nervous smile.
"Alright, if you say so." Yamamoto placed a firm, reassuring hand on his shoulder before returning to his seat. Gokudera followed suit as the teacher announced that they have a new student in their class.
A girl with long black hair and a bang that covered her left eye walked into the room. She has sharp, blueish-gray eyes and a light-skinned complexion. Her outfit consists of a white blouse with a black tie and a black buckled skirt with white knee-socks, completed with a pair of black boots that reach a few inches below her knees. "It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Sora Yoru. Please take care of me!" Tsuna was stunned by how her smile and voice betrayed her sharp, serious looks. Mostly everyone replied with a "nice to meet you" or a "welcome to our class".
The teacher gave Yoru a warm smile and gestured towards an empty seat. "You may sit in the empty seat next to Sawada Tsunayoshi."
"Thank you, sensei." Yoru strode towards her seat while pulling out her workbooks.
